As more autumnal weather moves in, so does a glut of windfall apples.  This simple apple cake is moist and delicious, and a great way of using up some up!

INGREDIENTS

  • Around 220g Bramley apples (or another fairly tart variety)
  • 220g self-raising flour
  • 110g butter
  • 110g soft brown sugar
  • 100g sultanas
  • 2 eggs
  • 100ml milk
